BASIC SEMESTER DETAILS
Basic semesters are for students with prior training or those who have completed our workshop series. These closed classes are purchased in blocks and attended over a 2 – 4 month period. We are utilizing semesters to build small dedicated adult ballet communities throughout Southern California. 

Brittany Bennington

Brittany began her ballet training in Huntington Beach, CA. As a student, she traveled to San Francisco Ballet School to train in the advanced division. Her professional performing career began in San Diego with The City Ballet of San Diego. She later went on to perform with Los Angeles Ballet, Ballet Tucson, Madison Ballet, in addition to television and film. In addition to her professional performing experience, Brittany has been teaching ballet to students of all ages for approximately 9 years.

Brittany is fantastic! She is so encouraging and always willing to answer questions and re-demonstrate things if we're struggling to wrap our minds around something new. I also appreciate that she provides alternatives for those who may be dealing with injuries and gives us tips on what we should do/not do to prevent injuries. I had taken some Align classes with a previous OC instructor and while I liked her, I'm so glad I decided to start over with Align 1 with Brittany. I believe I'm learning more from Brittany and building a better foundation of knowledge. I've now completed Align 1 and 2 with her and will be signing up for the Basic Semester with her as well. Thank you for bringing Brittany on board! She is an absolute gem!
Brittany is a very good instructor because she teaches at a pace that the class can follow, as well as she ‘reads the room’ and can see when an individual or the group as a whole is struggling and she imparts clear and supportive suggestions/instruction. Brittany is far superior than the previous instructor for Adult Beginning Ballet (Oct/Nov 2023). She is a gem and pleasant to be with :)
Brittany is a kind and patient teacher. She is knowledgable about ballet and is able to break steps/movements down in an easy to understand way. Brittany provides positive feedback to everyone in class. She makes ballet class an enjoyable experience that I look forward to!
